Quaker Parrot Preening too much
Post Body

Hi I’ve had a Quaker parrot for 4 years or so now and recently I think he is preening too much behind closed doors. I give him a lot of attention and he never does it in front of me but I’ve noticed him losing hair on his front neck area.

His age is unknown because he is a rescue and he came from a shitty situation.

I have a feeling it’s anxiety from being alone but he really isn’t alone that much, like with work and school I can’t give him much more time than I already do.

Is there anything I can do as a home remedy to get his hair back and to get him to stop? Or should I take him to the vet for tests
