Question about caging
Post Body

So I have four cockatiels and they were all together in a large aviary. I had a mate pair and I had two siblings from them and they seemed to get along fine but I’m unsure if one of the siblings is pluck my others feathers so I want to know if getting them two separate cages in the same room will possibly help with that? I don’t want to completely separate them and this is the best way I’ve found. Is this okay for them?

Do you have pictures? There is so many factors that could affect that. I can answer better with pics of the bird together, the cage what they eat how many bowls they have of food and water, toys the cage size

That’s great then just make sure you have preening toys and toys they can destroy so that they don’t fight

That’s quite small. How often do they come out? I personally wouldn’t house more than 2 in there

Okay so it’s better for cockatiels to be housed in a cage that’s longer than higher but this is great. What kind of toys/ perches do you have?
