My budgie is ready to get out of the cage he can step up, and he's super friendly. I've tried moving him closer to the door but he jumps down and runs away from me. He needs a different way about it and im not sure what the best way is? Should I open the door and let him decide?
Birds are prey we are predators what I do is I open the door and sit my the cage playing bird relaxing music and making sure to not look at them in the eyes (to not scare them) birds need a lot of patience to get over their instincts of fear
