Trying to help family African Grey
Post Body

So my family’s african grey is typically left in their cage most of the day besides the occasional open cage exploration (only on the cage). So obviously they are a bit anxious about most things and tend to snap and bite most people that get to close. I wanna try and interact and help them but the times i’ve tried have led to them puncturing my hand. I know most people say ignore bites and they’ll stop but its easier said than done when they bite and start to chew deeper deeper. Is there anything I can do to help while keeping my hand wound free?
