Stupid question I know, all the birds I cuddle with or interact with intimately I raised as babies or were from homes where they were raised as babies. I got This patagonian (2nd dream bird after Vasas) about a week ago.

From what I gather it was handreared in a group setting (cockatoos, smaller conures, macaws, etc. it Will mimic my laughter, and murmors, come to the edge of the cage to stare or scream at me, but runs away if I approach or come to change dishes. I am unsure if it likes me or just likes talking to me.

Going into this the goal was a cuddle bug like my late gcc. Since I didnt get this burd until it was a year old am I kinda just boned? Ill attach a pic in comments
