I just got invited to apply for a Legal Assistant job
Post Body

I do like my current law firm. It's personal injury, they pay me salary, and are very relaxed in terms of management. But I do sometimes worry they are not going to give me a raise this upcoming season. We don't have an established policy on anything. They raises I had got were very random.

I have also been feeling some burnout in personal injury and would not mind learning other parts of the legal field.

I was invited to apply at a law firm that deals with will and testament (elder law), but not sure if it's going to be an easy transition from personal injury. Also not quite sure how much a Legal Assistant would get paid. Are they paid more or less than in personal injury? I would like to know opinions before applying. I figured if I did land an interview, my standard is salary. I am not going back to hourly if I can help it.
