Hi all!
Let's get straight into it. I have a degree from Rowan University for Radio/TV/Film. I should have gotten the hint when I took media law that I was more into law than into film. I want to become a paralegal. I've read some threads on here and my head is spinning with info.
I have a BA already. I qualify for Rowan at Gloucester County's ABA approved paralegal certificate program. I'm not sure if this program is online, and therefore not sure if it is feasible as I work a 9-5 secretary job (not related to law). Not sure if I can take these classes at night. Camden County College paired up with "ed2go" Link here This program is not approved by the ABA but allows me to complete the program online and at my own pace, in a year's time.
Both colleges have AAS degrees. Also not sure if feasible because of said 9-5 job.
I live in NJ but very close to Philly. I plan on moving to California in the next few (5 or so) years.
So onto the questions:
Is there any downside to taking the online course? This is the most flexible option but doesn't come with the ABA approval.
Would it be better to go for the Associate degree? This option is significantly more expensive.
Are there any other online programs I should look into?
Thanks in advance. I hope this is the right place to ask this question.
