Finding work frustration
Post Body

I was laid off close to a month ago (will be a month next week) and the slow pace this is going is driving me nuts.

I applied for two legal secretary positions through temp agencies. Both actually seemed promising salary wise. I had one interview scheduled with Temp Agency A's client, but the interviewer had a death in the family. I haven't heard anything about scheduling an interview since Friday (I saw the temp agency over a week ago).

Temp Agency B sent my resume to their client. I asked for status Tuesday and was told they didn't hear back anything. Well now, I emailed today and she said the client wanted to know if I had experience with dropbox and similar document sharing platforms. I said yes. But how long ago did the client contact them about this?

I had a very promising interview with a defense attorney's office that I corresponded with hundreds of times. But they want to talk to my old law firm. They have had a situation where they hired an attorney from a PI firm and were threatened with suit. I didn't quit my last job. I was laid off with other people. But this still makes me nervous. I had the interview Saturday. I know that the attorney is busy because of trial this week.

I am just so done with being unemployed. Law firms I have either been to or applied at before have already rejected by application.
