...they concern one of my favourite pre-Roman civilizations, the Etruscans. The first thing I noticed, it's that Etruria is depicted as a unified polity: in reality, they were far less unified. They did have confederations and leagues, but they were far more relevant to their religion than to anything else, as they were sacred in character.
Moreover, they are depicted as following Roman-like naming conventions when, in reality, Etruscan women (unlike Roman women) had actual first names, among other things. Etruscans and Rhaetians should belong to a common cultural group, too, as they were related (if very divergent from each other) in real life.
I hope I'm not being too much of a pedant here, but I'm one of those people that thinks the Etruscans should've prevailed over the Romans, and not the other way around. :P
