[Modding] events with 1 day set to mean_time_to_happen (meant to happen instantaneously) sometimes require the month to end before the event triggers

This happens in every event that I want to have executed as soon as the triggers are met.
I set the mean_time_to_happen to 1 day (smallest measurement of time possible)
However, I often notice that the event won't trigger for an entire month, and as soon as the month resets the event triggers on the first day of that month.
Is there any workaround on this?
