Hi all!

Thank you for your votes yesterday, as we had almost 50 votes! In what I personally believe to be the biggest upset of the bracket so far (maybe not with a win, but with the defiant win it had), Pennington and the Excess Express destroy Doopliss and the Creepy Steeple with 80% of the vote! Winning, 39-6 (with 4 abstaining), Chapter 6 moves on! The bracket looks like this now.

Today's matchup is between Chapter 3 and 7! For a quick rundown of what happened in each chapter, click below:

Chapter 3: Of Glitz and Glory
Mario begins his time in Glitzville, a floating city in the sky dedicated to fighting, by entering the ring and seeing the champion, Rawk Hawk, with the Crystal Star on his belt. To win the belt, he must fight his way through the ranks to get the belt and be on his way. Mario enters the Glitz Pit to fight his way to the top, but along the way, gets mysterious messages from someone telling him to do various mysterious tasks. He finds an egg, hatches it, and finds a yoshi who becomes his partner, finds former fighters who had been squished by a giant block in the attic after finding his super hammer, and fights bowser after a match. Before the championship match, Mario is sent to a room and is locked in it, and Mario may have to forfeit! But alas, Mario escapes and finds his way to the ring, and becomes champion. Mario knows that by this point that the star on the belt is fake though, and finds his way into the ring when no one else is around. He finds Grubba using the actual crystal star to gain incredible power, and when defeated, releases Jolene's long lost brother, Prince Mush. Mario obtains the crystal star, is a hero of the people yet again, and continues on his journey.

Chapter 7:
Mario begins chapter 7 on his way to Fahr Outpost with his intentions to launch to the moon. He must find Admiral White to operate the bob-omb cannon, and this takes a while, bringing Mario through all the chapters he's been to so far in a nostalgic runthrough. When Mario finds Admiral White asleep at the Fahr Outpost, he wakes him up and gets shot to the moon. When he reaches the moon, he meanders on its surface for a short time until finding the X-Naut fortress. Mario enters and is immediately in search of the crystal star. While searching for codes, going through puzzles, and fighting more and more X-Nauts, Mario eventually finds an old friend, Lord Crump, who faces off with Mario one last time. After defeating Magnus Von Grapple 2.0, Lord Crump is eliminated, and Mario obtains the final crystal star, and heads back to Rogueport to break into the Thousand Year Door at last.
