Right now we're are 4th in most amount of money in dead cap space ($64m, the number 1 is the Broncos at $81m). By the end of 2025 we will be 30th with $220k (Steelers are 32nd with $45k).
The fact that we can finally breath a slight sigh of relief in regards to cap money is, to me, great. Our current draft picks under Morgan seem to be doing well in their rookie years. No one is blowing the doors off, but to say that they're not performing well for being rookies on a rebuilding team would be insincere.
I think we are seeing the beginnings of a true rebuild, and I can only hope that Dan and Brandt don't try to "all-in" prematurely.
