Hello lovely humans! (Mods please delete if not allowed, didn't see anything in the rules sorry!)
As part of completing our Psychology Honours Dissertation at Charles Sturt University (Australia), we are conducting a research project looking at what protects against depression among sexual minority adults (CSU Human Research Ethics approved). We are supervised by Professor Suzanne McLaren (published academic in this field, Orchid profile here https://orcid.org/0000-0002-4121-2320).
Why do we need pansexuals? Well, psychology research on 'sexual minorities' has typically focused on lesbian, gay, and bisexual individuals. Which is important absolutely, but not wholly inclusive. Also, we know the sexual minority (and human) experience is not homogenous, so we need more Bi / plurisexual voices and perspectives in psychological research.
Please, if you have a little bit of time to spare, consider participating in our online survey. It’s anonymous and confidential, and shouldn’t take longer than 15 minutes. Adults (18 ) only, sorry!
If you would like to participate, read a brief summary of our project, see our contact details etc, we'd love that https://csufobjbs.au1.qualtrics.com/jfe/form/SV_cA4WRhcRo9B7hvE
Thank you so much for reading. And hey, even if you don't feel like participating, feel free to have a chat here about what you think might protect against depression! Cheers!
