I’ve been a fan for around 7-8 years and truly can’t remember the first Panic! song I listened to. But I do remember discovering certain songs, or hearing new songs for the first time.

• I escaped my abusive home for a night by staying at my Grandma’s, and that day King of the Clouds was released. I fell asleep listening to that song and it felt like a good omen that life could only get better from here on.

• It was a crisp, cool fall morning when I came across the glory that is That Green Gentleman. I just remember my whole world lighting up in melodic joy, my heart as full and bright as the sun.

• The discovery of the entirety of V&V will forever stick with me, specifically Stall Me, Oh Glory, and Trade Mistakes. I was in such a dark space mentally, as a teenager burdened with protecting her siblings from her parents. The first time I listened to those songs was during a mental breakdown, at my wit’s ends, feeling like I couldn’t do it anymore. V&V saved me.

• Golden Days (live) changed me. I stumbled across it on YouTube when I was looking for the album version. I remember getting such goosebumps hearing how AMAZING his voice sounded live. My god, that man has one incredible voice that can change lives.
