Intermittent oily diarrhea for years and mildly elevated amylase and lipase after an episode (152/156)-does this sound like it could be chronic pancreatitis?

I’ve never drank and never smoked. For the last 5 years I’ve had about a once a month episode of severe diarrhea and I mean like a singular blowout and I’m fine afterwards. Basically shortly after eating I would get some bloating but all my pain would be in my lower left abdomen within minutes if the blowout. The cramping could be very very severe 10/10 pain but the moment I got it out of me I was basically back to normal. The diarrhea was often greasy/oily/fatty and light colored. Definitely some level of fat malabsorption at least during said episodes.

Doc ran tests-negative celiac genes, no inflammatory markers, low B12 but no PA and I eat meat so strange malabsorption there. All other kidney/liver functions were good, however after taking anylase and lipase levels about 32 hours after a blowout they were 152 and 156… definitely elevated but not anywhere near acute pancreatitis levels.

So GI doc sees me and does fecal elastase test-normal. She rubs others tests and I flag positive for SIBO. She feels this explains everything-SIBO causes fat malabsorption and low B12 and cramps etc. however I’m worried that it’s secondary to a pancreatic issue and that it wouldn’t explain the mild elevations. She did an abdominal ultrasound (not the best for this) and what it could see all looked well. She just kept telling me CP is defined by pain, not amylase and lipase and that my cramping symptoms don’t line up at all with CP pain.

Now of course sometimes I notice some tender nerve type spots on upper left abdomen by rib cage line-it can wrap around back. Of course this could also just be muscle issues.

She did retest anylase and lipase at a normal time weeks away from a blowout and both were normal.

So I’m just worried I have undiagnosed CP given the intermittent nature and seeming affect on anylase and lipase directly being elevated with the blowouts (and have like 80 of those in 5 years)- is this concerning or can those be elevated for non pancreas issues? Also do these symptoms sound like Cp? I have no family history of it but dad did have immune issues. Does the pain cramping sound like it? That went away when I got diarrhea out though. Just worried I’ve been having mini attacks for years.
