Just because I see it said often on this sub and summer is coming. Huskies and other thick coated are completely fine in hot weather like we have here. It’s Brachycephalic dogs like bulldogs, pugs, boxers and Pekingese that struggle in hot weather.
Post Body

The undercoat that thick coated dogs have actually keeps them cooler in hot weather than non dual coated dogs.

For brachycephalic dogs their main way of expelling heat from their body is through panting. Due to their squished noses and mouths they are highly inefficient at expelling heat and are actually the highest risk of dogs for heat stroke and heat exhaustion.
