How hot is 100 degrees in Palm Springs?
Post Body

We've all heard the term "dry heat," but its been awhile since I've been in the desert and can't remember what it feels like. I also know heat tolerance is somewhat subjective... But...

I am coming into town this weekend, with predicted highs of 100, 104, & 101. I just want to hear from those of you familiar with the area what I should expect in terms of activities. Will I only want to be hanging out at the pool during the day? We did want to go hike at some point - but maybe that will only be possible in the early morning or if we take the Tram up the mountain. What about nighttime? Will I be comfortable eating on a patio once the sun goes down?
