Pools in the summer - question

I am planning a bachelorette party this summer and we’ve landed on July in Palm Springs. The house we are staying at has a pool but I don’t know if it’s temperature controlled. What’s the likelihood we will be able to cool off in the pool if the temps are over 100F? Any ideas on how to cool it down? I’m also a little nervous about the heat in general. Any locals have tips for survival and making the best of a warm weekend?
