Post Body

This is not a job post. I am not hiring anyone right now. This is something I plan to do in the future if all goes well.

I've seen some negative sentiment towards hiring posts on here in the past, and I want to assure everyone that I'm not looking to exploit anyone.

This is what I am thinking to offer and I am open to suggestions, improvements and additions to it.

  • Salary: 150,000 PKR/month
  • Working hours: 7.5 hours per day 0.5-hour lunch break
  • Total working hours per week: 37.5 hours
  • Work type: Completely remote

I have a few digital products that are generating around 300$/month, and while it's not a lot, it's a good start. However, due to my full-time job, I don't have enough time to devote to adding new features to these products. As such, I am considering hiring a remote PHP developer from Pakistan to help me out.

This is where I need your help. As someone who is not familiar with the industry in Pakistan, I would like to know if it is a good idea trying to find and hire a good PHP developer from Pakistan.

Additionally, I would like to know more about the job market in Pakistan. What do people expect from a job in terms of paid holidays, job contracts, and other benefits? Any information you can provide would be greatly appreciated.

I understand $300 is not 150,000 PKR but I am willing to take a net loss to invest in my business and hire a skilled PHP developer.
