So I felt like I had to tell someone this so here it is lol. I was playing at MSXL Columbus this past weekend when quite possible the worst thing in my almost 10 years of playing happened to me so here it goes. I wrapped the 50 and got three kills to end that point. As I’m running to tag the buzzer I’m yelling to my teammate that the point is over (red light). I look over and see paint flying in and ended up turning my head the wrong way with my mouth open and boom I get hit in the back of the throat with a paintball….. As I said one in a million shot. I ended up in the ER with a collapsed lung, esophagus perf, and loose air in my chest and neck. Needless to say I won’t be opening my mouth when I don’t have to from now on. 🤣
