As a die hard Pacers fan, I know better. But part of me wants to believe that this is the year!
Go Myles Go!!
Bet then I guess you think the pacers are good enough for a title run lmao. And pacers don’t need wings bc they have 6’5 nesmith
The team is a year or 2 of development and one big piece away from being a serious contender. No reason to make a full run this year. And the nets suck their team is 1-5
Pacers is small market. They don’t get free agents. To get that final big piece to the team they need to draft and next year is the year to cop a great player.
And literally look at what you said. Without turner. Turner can’t stay healthy he requires lots of load management, why not ship him off he’s not making an impact on the floor compared to the value the team can get back
Yes the pacers are lmao. Tanking isn’t about losing every game. Gotta develop the young talent already on the roster by playing hard every game to win but the roster isn’t built to win many games and when it comes time you’ll see the pacers rotations get a little more experimental. And the final move to fully tank is trading off hield and turner. They aren’t worth more then a chance for top pick this draft.
Why would any of us pacers fans want the team to try its hardest this year to barely make the playoffs as a first round exit at most, when the draft can land another franchise player. There’s great wing players that are gonna go 3rd-10th pick and everyone knows this team needs that. These draft wings or wembanyama would be the last piece to push the pacers to the next level
Man it’s time to let go of turner. He’s not part of the pacers future but he was amazing while he was. Him and hields trade value are at an all time high with how they been preforming get back as much as possible before we risk him getting injured

How? It’s a risk that he won’t resign, why would he? He can start on a contending team instead of waiting to rebuild.
He’s injury prone and it’s not smart to sign him to a fat deal this summer to keep him on when you can trade him as an expiring contract to a team that needs him for valuable trade assets in return.
People not wanting to trade him are taking a risk that he walks this summer for nothing and the pacers lose out on picks or more young players to develop
It’s not about his age. It’s his health and current value plus risk of getting nothing just to keep him this year while pacers tank
