This is the gist of it:
Friend: How could anyone enjoy this? I mean not only are innocent people being tortured and experimented on like the people of the Holy Kingdom, but millions of people died brutally, because what? A shipment of grain
Me: Look its alright if you don't like Overlord but keep in mind that in the end of the day its just a fictional story and all those who died and suffered are all just words in a book. Its no different to how players kill NPCs for fun
So, What do you guys think?
I agree it is only a fictional story, but also, a shipment of grain can mean life and death for people in the medievel ages
