Post Body

I have a 98 Durango I use for offroad and overlanding but recently inherited my grandfather's 97 Suburban K2500 4x4 with 454. I can't get rid of it so it be replacing the Durango. I've taken it camping once and it's great for setting up a bed inside. I've ordered 35s, a 6"lift, offroad bumpers, replacment bushings and steering parts as well as some performance stuff. If I continue down this route I'm planning to add air lockers and regear it. Pretty sure it's a GM 14 bolt rear, not sure about the front.

How are these for offroad and for overlanding? How's the performance and durability? Anything I should look to change or swap out? Once it's set up I do plan to take it through some AZ and Utah trails.

Thanks a lot
