Gearing up for my first big overland trip that will take me truely remote, and want to know what people’s thoughts are on blankets vs panels (not fixed panels, as my ute is also for work when I’m home). Wether it be general advice or brand suggestions, all help is appreciated.
For context, my girlfriend and I (both 20) are headed to the Kimberly in North-West Australia halfway through 2019, want the solar power for the engel fridge (which I’m borrowing off the parentals), and a few lights at camp (have a second battery system in the car already, can I use that to save charge?). If you have other helpful advice for overlanding and camping please feel free to tell, I’m not a complete novice though, did lots of camping when I was younger with my family, any refresher is good though :) .
