I decided to run down to Zion National Park and take advantage of the extended weekend. I loaded the truck my and my brother and I reorganized/re-evaluated my gear. I figured we would head into the area via Kolob Reservoir - which if you zoom out, would make for a nice little trail.
We talked to a local and he advised us not to go on the road because of all of the rain lately. We took it into consideration but went up anyways. We saw this sign. After driving a little ways up the road my tires looked like this and I decided to put into 4-Low. It started to rain again and I was either in 2nd or first gear in 4 low. We came across a couple and another truck who left their trailer on the road because the road was so shitty. I ended up having to pull out the 2nd truck (the one who was supposed to get the first truck unstuck). Sorry I didn't take any pictures of that mess. Finally we ended up turning around because we couldn't drive straight.
First campsite with my derpy brother.
Second campsite again with my derpy brother.
Trail Ride on one of the roads. I should have taken more pictures but my brother and gf were complaining so I just wanted to get to our destinations.
Also, after the first night I realized that my ARB fridge wasn't working anymore due to the fact that I forgot to ground my house battery charging system. Opps.
