Enjoyed the extra paychecks but both of these jobs were incompatible. Given that they both had lots of impromptu meetings ( not for any particular reason just useless company rah rah meetings where people would talk about company culture and other useless shit).
Annualized over a year both jobs would’ve paid me over 235k which I know to some of you on here isn’t a lot but to me that’s a huge amount of money . Currently interviewing and doing final round interviews as we speak. Funny enough all the companies I’ve looked at I’ll be getting a minor pay raise for the new opportunities ( one will increase the base salary by 25k the other will be an increase of about 20k all in all about a 45k raise).
Don’t be afraid to leave too early, that’s the best thing you can do
- edit. I just want to say thank you to everyone on here whose spoken encouraging words about my TC between both jobs. Tbh this subreddit does often make me feel small in terms of what I make because it can be overwhelming looking at people making 300k per job etc. I also understand that regardless I’m lucky to make what I make. You guys really made my day with the comments.
