Would it be wrong to stay at J1 and accept a position at J2
Post Body

I have had LI almost since they started, J2 found me recently on LI

I have been at J1 for 5 years (remote) and they have been pretty good to me except have not followed through on a few key agreements.

the job has gone a bit stagnant, they told me I was taking over another coworkers position that left for a better paying position (45% more),

however No pay raise and I don’t have access to even half of what he had access to and I have to make requests to other employees to get said access for short periods of time.

Anyway I was recently contacted by another company J2 (they are Not a competitor to J1 but they are to one of J1’s product manufacturers who I work directly with) and they have shown great interest in hiring me for a position and I have a potential of making 40% more bonuses and stock.

The issue I have is I have been working with J1’s customer for well over a year with the product manufacturer on a project that if I leave leaves J1 stranded for a while and as I said they have been good to me except a few things.

Most of what I do I have been able to brake down to 15 hours a week.

J2 will of course want me to work 40 hours a week as well as travel to training (which I can do) and there will be additional travel. J1 requires travel also but I am fully in charge of when so I can schedule the work for a Friday and take Thursdays and Friday off at J2.

Would it be wrong for me to stay at J1 while working at J2 until above mentioned project is completed or I can find a replacement for my J1 position.

And should I hibernate my LI profile for say 6months

Thanks and any suggestions would be appreciated
