Licensed Industry But Automated My Job
Post Body

Hi.

I have been at my job for a bit but recently figured I could automate the whole process. I had thought about it before, but it never seemed like it was worth it until I found enough processes (over 50 percent of my job) to automate. On my week from home I have been working on a software project (not a software developer though professionally) and doing some volunteer work developing software to make experience in order to get a dev position. If I am able to meet my quota and a little more with my automations, should I moonlight under the radar, focus on my software, or do something else? I am looking for better positions so I can eventually go full remote, but as of right now I am just hybrid. Is there any way to utilize my WFH or office time more than I already am?
