26, lawyer, not living in the USA.
I do have a job in my country government as a Section Manager, also I have special studies in data protection as I specialized in ICT laws knowledge, obviously the acquisition power is not even close to a USA worker (about 20k a year in a 40hrs p/week job). That said, a month ago I started studying Excel and Microsoft SQL Server to achieve a data analysis certification in the near future, as long I got it I want to perfect my english language skills as it isn't my main language and I do make mistakes. All this, to start applying for a j2 or even a new j1 on a WFH environment. After all this explanation I want to know some stuffs.
Do you guys think I'm doing well by trying to get a j2 on the TI niche?
What kind of certifications/courses do you recommend to draw a route through the Data analysis world?
How can someone as me start earning experience in the Data analysis environment? even for free I'm able to do what would be necessary to grow my resume for the future if it could help me to get a J in something related to tech field.
Thanks in advance.
