I was experiencing some discomfort in my left shoulder last year. I was referred to a physiotherapist who said I had a slight shoulder impingement & my shoulders were rounded forward slightly. She gave me some exercises to do to strengthen the rotator cuff & they did work to a certain degree. I have also been doing wall slides & foam rolling my thoracic spine after every workout at the gym but I still have this dull pain which can be felt at the front of my shoulder down to the back of my arm. This pain is really dull & sometimes it disappears for days but one thing I have noticed is that i always wake up with pain on that side. When I put my left arm behind my back the pain increases significantly but after say 15 to 20 minutes of moving my arm it disappears or drastically gets less. Also, any external rotation of the arm brings on the pain.
Any advice please?
