not sure if my dip form is way bad
Post Body

I have been having a habit of doing this dip form for years, and I feel ignorant now because I don't know if I have been doing it wrong all this time. First off, the reason why I do dips on a TRX suspension trainer instead is because there are no gymnastic rings in all my gyms that I go to. I also don't do regular dips as these just feel way more natural for my shoulders. I don't go all the way down on my reps because I don't have the mobility to go down that far. Here are my concerns:

1st concern: All this time I thought it was proper position to have your arms and hands locked close to your sides, in fact so close that your hands are brushing up against you, I don't know if that is bad form.

2nd concern: If I am using a short range of motion like this am I wasting my time?

3rd concern: Is my neck in a bad position?

here is a video of me
