(idk if its okay to delete and reupload posts, I just thought that editing my title would be more appropriate and helpful and would apply more context to overall post. sorry moderators)

hi group, ive been trying out and experimenting different modes of progression, specifically, last set to failure and additional set, because im plateuing on pull ups. im currently at 6 but i just got 7 today

in my last last workout, my numbers on Pull-ups are 6,6,7. in my last workout, i added another 6, therefore, i had 6,6,7,6.

today, i aim for 7,7,7 as per recommendation on the book which is additional set. my numbers are 7,7, and 6, just one rep short. i like doing pull ups, so adding an additional set is a treat for me. howeever, i dont know if i should add another set because i failed to do 7,7,7

what should i aim in next session? should i aim for 3x7 before going 4x7, or can i do 7,7,6,7 straight, away?

i do pull ups with good form and my aim is 10 pullups with good form before progressing. thank you for help.
