Hi,
Today I tried to push my GPU's OC a bit further. I have a Strix 1080ti OC from Asus, and I overclocked it with Afterburner. I maxed out the sliders for voltage, power, max temp, added 69 to the core clock and 500 to the memory, for a total of 2062 MHz and 6000vMHz respectively. I managed to complete 4 smooth runs of Heaven Benchmark with a highscore of 4143. The temps never exceeded 54°C.
After that, I tried to push the core clock to 75 but the benchmark crashed halfway through.
So I re-entered the previous settings, but from that point on I've not been able to complete a run without crash or momentary freeze.
Note that the first tests of these settings were done with only one mobitor plugged into the GPU, while the last ones (those that don't work) had 2,which is my usual set up.
So here is my question : was the OC not stable in the first place or does having 2 monitors connected really impacts performance that much?
