Delidding 7700k. Is there a significant difference between replacing TIM with liquid metal or something like thermal grizzly kryonaut?
Post Body
I am wondering if its worth it to wait for the conductonaut to get here, or if using the kryonaut on both the inside and out of the IHS will do the same.
Update: Got my LM today, had everything laid out and ready. Delidding with a razor was FAR easier than I had anticipated, and it only took me about 5 minutes to separate the IHS from the PCB.
I ran an IBT before and after the delid, and I am super shocked with the results! a 22C degree difference! https://imgur.com/a/T5eun
