Blighter rounds glitching?

Okay so dont know if it is a sound issue or a glitch, but ive noticed in the middle of my fury of blighter rounds going off that every once in awhile it will start to sound like a normal burst of fire instead of the sound that it makes when the blighter rounds are active. That would also explain why toxic lead isnt being proc. Also really starting to believe that toxic lead doesnt stack with the T1 skilld mod that gives you 30% of extra rounds from blighter rounds from blighter kill shot.
