I just finished the season hoping for something like Alone. Despite suspecting that production guided the story a little too much, let me start by saying I’ve never watched anything in my life for the sake of entertainment that has made me so tense to the point I had to turn it off from anger and an elevated heart rate.
Jill reminded me of every holier than thou, self righteous hypocrite I met in church. She probably thinks of herself as a good person and is the very reason I left religion far behind. All of this talk of the universe and her “right to win” at the expense of others and her own morals. I hope she finds nothing but failure in life. She is absolutely a garbage excuse for a human.
Amber is no better. I didn’t see her contribute once the entire time. She became the very stereotype of the slacker addict that hangs around a flophouse for scraps and opportunity. If there ever was any food missing, I bet Amber was responsible. Justin was wasting away before our eyes. After they ganged up on him, he spent the rest of his time trying to prove himself for these two.
The only reason Jill valued Amber was because Jill had nothing left when she abandoned her morals and humanity. She knew she was wrong and needed someone with just as much, if not less moral fiber to justify her actions. Amber was nothing more than a subservient mongrel that needed someone’s approval for her to give the bare minimum: a lack of judgement, humanity, and intellect. I bet she has no problem meditating given the lack of principal thought floating between her ears.
Anyway. Congrats to the boys. They’re not totally innocent, but I’ll be damned if they’re even a fraction of a percent as evil as Jill & Amber.
