I think I figured out the O-ring defect issue...
Post Body

After handling my coworker's ring a couple weeks ago, I decided to but a Gen 4 Stealth model. Having seen the complaints here, I was pretty adamant on closely inspecting my ring upon arrival. I immediately noticed that my ring is much smoother around the edges. With that comparison in mind, I think the manufacturing process includes a very fine/slight knurl around the edges of the metal to retain the O-ring. The rings that are sharper may not have been knurled properly. Of course, this is purely speculative but it's a definite difference in feeling when compared against the two rings. Coworker's is a rose gold Gen 4 model. FWIW, mine notes "Made in Estonia." Anyway, just my $0.02. I hope mine doesn't end up having issues...will report back.
