Has anyone had items from their porch stolen (in the Glebe)?

I have a small home business and typically put the items I sell in a bin on my porch for customers to pick up. Today several packages were stolen. This is going to affect my business since I’ll either need to deliver or find a way to keep the packages hidden. The kicker? I sell children’s books. Someone literally stole from a child.
Any next steps I should take, or experience with this? I’ve filed a police report already but I doubt it will do much.
