Yup, if you feel like you are an elf despite being born in a human body, then that would fall under otherkin. It's just a word for people who have a non-human species identity, and it's very broad. Otherkin can identify many different types of creatures, and express that in different ways, and have different beliefs or guesses about what causes it. It's all about just trying to learn to live with this weird existence.
