Why do so many songs get lost to time on YouTube?

Ive been trying to go through every ranked osu beatmap song, and some songs I find so much that I love. But when I go to download them from YouTube they got removed and all I can find is demos from 13 years ago with 50 views. Not the actual song itself.

The only way I can even access the song anymore is through the osu folders thankfully.

I'm kind of tempted to find all these old songs that got removed from youtube and reupload them for mirrors so people have access, but worried about getting a copyrightstrike or dmca.
