This is a genuine question. When I say “should,” it’s my opinion (if I could ever be a voter LOL), not me predicting what the Academy will actually do.

My gut reaction to the Best Actress category is that Emma Stone should win. Yet, I also thought Sandra Hüller gave a better performance than Lily Gladstone. Maybe even Annette Bening.

Can people provide their comparative rationale for LG over ES (and/or others)? This is not pot-stirring, but I want to have a reason not to be disappointed on Oscars night and see the LG perspective.

EDIT: I’m not asking for you to convince me or change my mind. It’s made up. But I want to understand alternative viewpoints on this specific race….helps add to the fun of it.
