Cannot engage posterior third. Bump under chin. Can’t see any difference when I’m mewing

Been trying to mew for an embarrassingly long time and have seen no results. I’ve noticed a bump under my chin which people told me might be fat, might be lymph nodes, digastric muscle, or improper engaging of my posterior third. I feel a lot of pressure in the middle of my hard palate but am not sure if I am engaging my posterior third correctly. Seriously just considering going to a doctor. I’ve noticed that I get tongue tied a bit when speaking. Would really appreciate some help 🙁
