Good evening,
It seems that my orthodontist is not complying with our verbal agreement before treatment began or that he is addressing something other than what I am concerned of. It is now 5 of 20 trays and I am concerned that he may be milking me of money to rebuy another treatment on top of our first agreed $3,500 treatment. Or maybe it is too early into the treatment to tell.
I recently went to an orthodontist who verbally agreed to widen my smile and to address my narrow buccal corridors. Just verbal confirmation. He had recommended 20 trays of plastic aligners to fix my smile. These plastic aligners are his version of Invisalign (as he was top 1% in Invisalign for 10 years). Teeth 3, 4, 5, 12, 13, 14 are facing inwards, which, we agreed 5 weeks ago to address. He is straightening the front teeth which I greatly admire. But my main concern is the narrow buccal corridor.
I donβt want this orthodontist to try to sell me more service. I want to get over and done with this! We will be meeting again after my 9th tray to further discuss the next set of trays. What should I do? Is it normal to address the front teeth first then the narrow buccal corridor?
