Just wanted to give a public thank you to the staff at the Barnes & Noble in the Milk District. Went there last night with my two kids and the staff was great at helping them find books. Jessica found several recommendations for my 9 year old by asking great questions and really talking to him. It's a bit of a drive for me, but they'll be getting more of my business for sure.
Edit: Maybe it's not in the Milk District. Maybe there is no Milk District. Maybe none of us exist. Thank you to the employees of this particular B&N which is either near the TG Lee milk plant, or floating somewhere in a void.
I love Writers Block and stop there when I am in Winter Park. Last night, however, we were doing a camp pickup from Leu Gardens and killing a little time (and buying the kids books because I'll never say no to books) before going to Black Rooster for tacos, which ... delicious.
It was really good (as usual). I also learned that if you get the horchata, you get free refills, which I didn't know before. We all left very full.

Right by Toojays ... is that not the Milk District?
