Losing count of how many average places we’ve tried since moving here that are incredibly overpriced.
Keke’s Breakfast cafe, $75 tip for 3 people to eat an average breakfast. What!? Your silver dollar pancakes are very close to the actual size of a coin. Never again, not worth it.
Azteca D’Oro. $20 for every single plate of the simplest Mexican food imaginable, everything has the same 5 ingredients…Again $75 tip for 3 meals, with no alcohol and all waters, how!?
Tired of going to places and seeing average $18-20 burgers on the menu. What are your worst offenders? What are your best alternatives?
The Osprey has really gone down both in service and menu quality over the last 2 years. I'd recommend going to the Wild Fork and learning to cook with better ingredients. It's more cost-effective to spend $120-150 on meat for the month than to pay upscale restaurant prices for the same food per visit.
