Post Body

Nah, just trying to get some fresh eyes on my dilemma.

I have a handful of original Xbox and Xbox 360's. I enjoy keeping old tech alive. Would anyone have some suggestions for me on what to do with ten Xbox 1.6, 2-3 1.4's. I can't remember what versions I have for the 360's.

My plan, upgrading the HDD's to SSD, replace all capacitors (including maintenance on powersupplies), TSOP what I can but softmod the 1.6's?

with the 360's I'm gonna do the same but obviously this portion can be sent over to /r/xbox360

I'd like to throw in at least 1TB to get the entire collection on the sdd. I would also like to keep the dashboard kid friendly or non-tech friendly. I believe there is a dashboard XBMC Games?

I apologize about my ignorance on the software end. It has been a few years since I have had the opportunity to get back into my hobbies. I'd like to donate the machines, after I make them nice.

Any good ideas to improve the refurbs, please chime in (should I add HDMI output, etc.). Thank you and I really do look forward to the replies.
