What to do/Where to trade?

Hello, happy holidays and thanks for reading!
So I let an unexperience old person buy The Sims 3 Pets Expansion Pack from a codes page. And the DLC bought was a Steam Gift Code (she didn't know what that was). We have The Sims 3 and a few DLCs through Origin and I wanted to know if we can move the Steam gift to our Origin Library. If that's not possible, is there any place I can go to trade the Steam Gift for an Origin version of the DLC?
