Hey yall! I am a SoCal native and have grown up around endless sunshine and people. I have always wanted to move to Oregon; I love the forests, rain, clouds, and hiking on my free time. I don't like how crowded and expensive SoCal has gotten in the past couple years and am looking for a change and a more quiet and peaceful life. I am finishing up my bachelors degree this spring and eventually want to go to Oregon and become a teacher.
Any advice regarding location, housing, lifestyle, or the educational sphere would be greatly appreciated!
Teachers get treated like shit here. The pay is miserable
