Roots not growing onto mount?
Post Body

I’ve had a schoenorchis Gematta mounted on cork bark (in a terrarium with great humidity and automatic misting, to rule that out) for about 6 months, but the roots still aren’t grabbing onto the cork. They’re growing away from the cork in every other possible direction instead? I can’t find any information about what could be causing this. I undid the plant wire ties that were holding it on about a week ago to check the progress, thinking that after 6 months at least some roots would’ve taken hold of the cork, but not a single root was attached to the bark. How do I encourage this thing to actually grow on its mount?
