My first attempt at actually taking care of an orchid, and the little cutie did not disappoint.

I love the way its flowers look. It also seemed to like spending the summer on my balcony, and the leaves grew large and strong. Now I just wonder if there is a way to make it grow even more flowers at once, like they do when they are sold.

I do in the summer.

Really? Looking forward to that then! :)

I do not, unfortunately.

I bought it cheap in a grocery store, without much info.

That pattern on the blooms is what motivated me to learn to take care of it.

And I guess I'll see what it does next year then!

I noticed now the one visible in the picture is the oldest, that I've kept compact. I just bought new, bigger support for its babies because they were growing all over the place... Hopefully they can attach there when they start growing again in the spring.

Edit: Oh, one of the babies is in the second picture, I'm dumb.

Thank you. :) The original Hoya was from my grandmother, and now they're finally doing well after often just surviving. (And sometimes even dying, but surviving anyway because I made more of them.)
